This e-book translated and re-edited the book published as “Kyokara soku tsukaeru Sun Tzu’s The Art of War” (Asahi Shinbun Publishing).
The Chinese classic “Sun Tzu” or Sun Tzu’s “The Art of War” is about the method of warfare, and it is said to have been written about 2500 years ago. Surprisingly, though formed so long ago, it has many similarities with modern management theory.

It’s as if a modern management theorist developed his own theory with reference to Sun Tzu. Therefore, learning about Sun Tzu’s “The Art of War” means learning about modern management, and learning Sun Tzu leads to the realization of a successful business.

From this point of view, the aim of this book is to find the keys to success in business among the wisdom of 2500 years ago.

The translation of Sun Tzu is faithful to the original text. However, regarding the modern translation, I gave priority to the position from the modern management theory and explained it with abundant illustrations. You can think of this book as “a visual version of the modern business translation of Sun Tzu.”
